"As users of these products for the past year, staff and students of year 6 at Ryders Hayes in the West Midlands have found the lessons to be an extremely valuable resource as a booster for under-achievers in maths. The new DVD’s are easy to use and sessions administered with minimal preparation by the classroom assistant. The supporting materials are extensive. Children enjoy the lessons because they are varied and well paced. They respond well to the TV programme and take an active part in completion of the sheets, revision and the tutor challenge. A healthy level of competition helps to keep the children on task and motivated. Sessions for year 6 Boosters have run three times weekly at 8:45 a.m. until the start of formal lessons at 9:20 a.m. Children are keen to take part in the sessions and attendance is good. KS2 level 4 + SATS results rose significantly in 2004 to 96%, partly, we believe, as a result of Lesson in a Box." Global recognition Lesson in a Box is committed to working with schools outside the UK who are happy to use resources designed for the UK National Curriculum. Schools as far away as Bermuda and Goa are utilizing our resources. How much does it cost? Prices below are per child for one course comprising 35 lessons:
