How it WorksWhat is Lessons in a Box? Lessons in a Box began developing its unique maths courses in 1999. All the lessons presented through out the courses were written and presented by practising British teachers. They cover all of Key Stage 2 (years 3 to 6) and are totally in line with UK National Curriculum. Lessons in a Box is the only online Maths study programme of its kind. It is designed to build strong foundations whilst making maths fun. Children can work at their own pace and start at a point that matches their ability. The course is adaptable and can be used both in Schools, as a teaching resource for groups or individuals, or for home Study. What do we provide? There are four courses, each one contains 35 lessons, all lessons are fully structured and children follow a simple routine of watching different parts of each lesson and then complete online exercises or print off games. All lessons are automatically marked and progress is recorded. Teachers or parents can access progress records and other important information so that thay can monitor childrens performance. Is the course recognised? Because our courses are totally in line with the UK governments' National Numeracy Strategy, Lessons in a Box is registered as an approved resource for schools. How much does it cost? Prices below are per child for one course comprising 35 lessons.
